There are tools such as google analytics that measure the effectiveness of a website. Here are just some examples of the data that is reported so that you can track and improve the success of your website.

  • Which pages get the most visits
  • How long users stay on the website
  • Where geographically the visits are coming from
  • Bounce rate (how many users visit and then immediately back out)
  • Referring websites
  • How many people find you from a search engine
  • What terms users type into a search engine to find your website
